Make it - wooden screw clamps: the most "woodworky" clamp of all woodworking clamps. i am always in need of more clamps, and i prefer to build my own tools. imagine my delight when i discovered jorgensen makes a kit that fills all my needs and desires. they're relatively ch.... The sliding jaw on the clamp needs a notch in the back of the beam to catch. mine needed a notch ¼” by ¼”. i spaced them 3” apart all along the beam except for where the screw hardware is attached at one end.. I didn't have any wooden screw clamps, so i pick up a couple 12" kits from jorgensen and built my own. very functional build and a little cheaper than buying them completed. the instructions were.
