An easy shed foundation for the beginner and good for prebuilt or a home built sheds. a foundation of pavers sits on leveled exposed ground or a sand base. they provide a solid flat base upon which to build or set a shed and evenly support the floor.. When a shed has to be built on any slope or other uneven ground, some accommodation will have to be made to make sure the floor is level so the shed will be square and solid. how this is done will depend on how uneven the ground is, what type of soil it is, what water runoff and drainage factors may be involved and the type and weight of the shed.. From experience, the simplest way to build shed bases on uneven ground it to use a foundation of blocks, ideally concrete. this way, to compensate for higher or lower ground on one side you can add or remove blocks to make a level base. tools required - spade measuring tape masonry blocks pea gravel treated timber planks marking posts ribbon.

When building a shed on unlevel ground, as the foundation grade becomes steeper the problem becomes greater. there are two main solutions to building a shed foundation on a slope: the deck. the retaining wall. note: if you are lucky your shed site will be relatively level. if you only need to build a shed base on a slight slope this can be.
