cost to lay concrete shed base
I was having a new fence installed and the builder doing it charged me an extra 120 notes to lay an 8x6 base for my new shed... that included materials etc and he did a cracking job. i paid £250. There is multiple ways of doing it. dig out by hand or by machine, concrete ready mix or hand mix or simple slabbing it. there is the cheap way or the expensive way so bottom line is your budget. for a shed/summerhouse i would just slab it but for a base that big i would concrete it. the bottom line is you get what you pay for these days as you can see from the replies but my price would be £. Concrete: the cost of concrete per cubic yard is $119.54 + delivery (price often goes down when ordering more). for a 4-inch thick pour in the 12’x14’ base 2.05 cubic yards which would cost $248.64. (119.54÷27÷3=$1.48/sqft) you may want to round down to 2 cubic yards, or round up to 2½ cubic yards; each will affect the cost.. cost to lay concrete shed base
Does anyone know approx how much a concrete base 10056mm x 4386mm (44.1m²) should cost? i would need the grass digging out, 4 inches of gravel hardcore laying and a damp proof membrane putting down. the base would need to be a minimum of 4 inches in thickness. the ground is flat.. Homeadvisor's concrete slab cost calculator gives average installed concrete costs per square foot or size (30x30, 24x24, 40x60) for garage floors, sheds, backyard slabs and more. estimate the labor price to pour concrete vs. buy precast cement pads..
